Esquimalt Farmers Market

Where: Memorial Park, opposite City Hall

When: Thursdays, 4:30-7 pm (Summer); Indoors at Esquimalt Rec Centre (Winter)

What I Love: Fresh fruits, veggies, and the buzz of community vibes. The smells of food trucks are irresistible, and the free samples? Yes, please!

James Bay Community Market

Where: Corner of Menzies Street & Superior Street

When: Saturdays, 9 am-3 pm (May-Oct)

Why Visit: A great mix of crafts, music, and delicious local products. It’s a lively weekend spot that’s perfect for a leisurely stroll.

Moss Street Market

Where: Corner of Moss Street & Fairfield Road

When: Saturdays, 10 am-2 pm (May-Oct); 10 am-1 pm (Nov-Apr)

Highlight: The range of organic and local products, plus crafts and live music, make this my Saturday ritual!

Why Go: The farm-to-table products here are absolutely top-notch. Plus, live music!

Salt Spring Island Market

For a unique island experience, the Salt Spring Island market is a must-visit. It’s a treasure trove of local arts, crafts, and culinary delights.

Esquimalt Farmers Market: A Hip Spot for Farm Fresh Eats & Drinks

This market is a total gem! The array of delicious foods, local spirits, and the vibrancy of the crowd makes it one of my favorite spots. Their motto “worth crossing the bridge for” is spot on!

Moss Street Market: An Ideal Saturday Morning Destination
