Our Whirlwind of Date Nights in Victoria BC
Let’s dive into our favorite date night activities that enjoy for date night.
1. Picnic Perfection
Nothing says “romantic date” like a good old-fashioned picnic. We swing by Bubby Rose’s Bakery & Cafe for some scrumptious sandwiches or, if we’re feeling extra, The Roost Farm Bakery. Then, off to a Victoria park we go, sandwich in one hand, partner’s hand in the other. It’s a feast for the stomach and the heart!
2. Fun at Fisherman’s Wharf

Fisherman’s Wharf is our go-to spot for soaking in the quirky vibes of Victoria. We stroll past colorful floating homes, and yes, we chat with the seals – they give great advice on seafood! Kayaking here is a must; nothing tests your relationship like trying to synchronize your paddling.
3. Pinball Wizard

Pinhalla is Victoria’s new Pinball paradise and their pizza is pretty good too.
4. Basking in Nature’s Beauty
Hiking up Mount Douglas is our idea of a perfect date – nothing beats the view from the top. If we’re feeling extra connected to Mother Earth, we opt for a guided forest adventure with The Natural Connection. Nothing says “I love you” like gasping for breath together after a steep climb!
5. Vegging Out
We adore visiting The Fickle Fig Farm Market for organic produce and exploring the Gardens at HCP. It’s our way of being healthy, sustainable lovebirds.
6. Board Game Battles
At Caffe Fantastico, we duke it out over board games and locally-roasted espresso. Nothing strengthens a relationship like a friendly game of Monopoly, right?
7. Chocolate Indulgences
We can’t resist a sweet treat from Rogers’ Chocolates or Chocolats Favoris. It’s our delicious way of keeping the romance sweet.
8. Seaside Adventures

Exploring Victoria’s sandy beaches never gets old. Sometimes we take a drive to Sombrio Beach for its stunning views, making the journey as fun as the destination. These are some of the best spots for sunsets in Victoria.
9. Culinary Creations
Shopping at the Victoria Public Market for dinner ingredients or taking a couples’ cooking class at The London Chef spices up our date nights – literally!
10. Strolling the Breakwater

Nothing beats a leisurely walk to the Breakwater lighthouse, watching floatplanes and enjoying craft beer at The Breakwater Bistro afterwards.
11. Old Town Glow
Strolling through Old Town at night is magical. The historic buildings light up, creating a romantic ambience that’s hard to beat.
12. Bike Adventures
Cycling around Victoria, whether on e-bikes or cruisers, is our jam. It’s fun, healthy, and offers a new perspective on the city.
13. Beacon Hill Park Bliss
A cone from Beacon Drive-In and a wander through Beacon Hill Park is an afternoon well spent. The ducks and peacocks are practically our friends now.
14. Brews and Cheers

Tasting craft brews at Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. or sipping cocktails at one of Victoria’s unique lounges is our way of toasting to us.
15. Peaceful Pier Walks
A stroll along the Sidney Pier offers tranquility and a chance to connect deeply – plus, we get to geek out over books in Booktown.
16. Dancing Nights
Whether it’s Irish Times Pub or Hermann’s Jazz Club, we dance the night away whenever we
